I'm Frickin freezing here...

Hadrian's Wall is a stone and turf fortification built by the Roman Empire across the width of what is now England. It was Begun in AD 122. Basically it was built to keep the English(peasants)out.
Small gated milecastle fortlets, were built one placed every Roman mile along the wall. These milecastles had some very cool technology.... in-floor heating, indoor heated swimming pools to name a few. Soooooo my question is, way have the Brits still not figured out how to use the technology themselves... come on people it been nearly 2000 years!
